Owner-run and long-established safari experts combining conservation and specialised guiding into a unique guest experience.

Jeffery & McKeith Safaris is one of the few remaining owner–run operations in Zambia, a country with one of the richest wildlife heritages on the African continent. Our two camps in remote Northern Kafue National Park are the perfect spots from which to explore and experience African wildlife at its very best.

Our camps

Musekese Camp is perched on the edge of the spectacular ‘Eden’ lagoon, home to a plethora of wildlife.

Liuwa Plains Mobile Safari

Liuwa Plains is an exceptionally unique area and long-time favourite destination of ours. Our mobile safaris are private and our guiding team experts in the region.

One of the best aspects of our safaris is the variety of activities; whether it’s a love of birds, water, big game or just wanting to feel a little closer to the bush, we’re here to help you plan your safari, make it your trip and your memories.

Why Jeffery & McKeith?

  • Prime Location - High density of large carnivores

  • Owner Run - One of the last of its kind

  • Quality Guides - Some of Africa’s finest

  • Conservation - The reason we exist

Our story

‘’I wish the world was twice as big and half of it was unexplored.’’ David Attenborough aptly describes the allure of a truly untouched wilderness. Do such areas exist? Can they be travelled? This  vision was shared by Tyrone McKeith and Phil Jeffery.

Conservation is at the heart of what we do

Musekese Conservation is a Zambian run Non-Profit organisation. We help to provide resources for conservation projects working across the Musekese-Lumbeya area. Our primary focus is to establish law enforcement and research initiatives that contribute to the preservation of wildlife and communities within the Kafue National Park.
